Yes in the general ...
MU was "worried about him" and so are a lot of other schools because I don't hear anyone falling over to get him to their school.
Right - folks all along screaming for howland to get the job here; I mean, I'm sure he will somewhere, but at a place much more desperate than MU at thus or hopefully any other time
Talk about "Jumping the Shark"
That idiot agent illegally paid Tyler Honeycut and his family 50K.
Dude got cut after like 15 games in the league.
How foolish was he will never see a return on that investment. Wow
But he coached several teams to the Final Four AND National Championship game AND recruits the best!
::)
Schools must really have the yips about him considering Bruce Pearl and Kelvin Sampson are back coaching in D1.
Howland will be a perfect fit for DePaul in 2015

He will be because at DePaul he won't have any players that agents are willing to pay upfront money to.
Agents can do this with any player and don't think it doesn't happen, it does. The question is, does the coach know about it?

Exactly. I would guess Howland was oblivious to this.

We have 7 miles more to play with. Don't worry.... they have their spot. Right after the Kardashians and Executives who promote such crappy TV.

Chico will hate me for this but I have been TV free for two months now. I haven't missed a thing. If I need to see a ballgame there are a dozen bars within walking distance. Watched a few MU this season sipping Pepsi surrounded by drunk Husky fans.
As soon as I saw that SI piece, I no longer wanted Howland ... and I'm guessing Marquette higher-ups felt the same way.

What if Wojo hadn't come to MU and they hired Howland? Today would have been a huge let down......
