Hey guys, without detailing too much here. A former MU athletic department employee who is an absolute angel lost her teenage son this past week. Passed away in his sleep. Heartbreaking doesn't begin to describe losing a child and to add to it that he was seemingly healthy but had an undiagnosed heart issue is beyond words. If you have been a MU fan 10 years or longer and ever visited the old 1212 building, you probably interacted with this very lovely person.
Say a prayer, keep her and her family in your thoughts if you will.
God Bless
When we lost our son I always took comfort in what our Lords told his disciples that when two or more are gathered and pray in His name He promised to be with us.... and if He is with us and her son is with Him then her son is never really that far away.
sending prayers
Sending my thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this tragic time.
Awful. Prayers up.

You never get over it...but faith can get you through it. Our granddaughter's name is Faith.
We all sweat the little stuff too much.
Sorry for your losses.

Wow. I just can't imagine losing one of my daughters.
Prayers to all.
Asking for peace and love for that family.
She reached out to me and a few other former department employees yesterday. It was very nice, amazingly strong person. She shared a note that his best friend had written about him which definitely made the eyes moist.
