UW-M loses their leading scorer and 1st team HorizonPre-season selection. Anything less than a 50 point victory will cause me to be upset with Crean and the team. After all the BS from them we should not let off the gas until the last minute and maybe not until the horn!!

UWM's Smith dismissed from basketball team
Avery Smith, UW-Milwaukee's leading scorer last season, has been officially dismissed from the squad.
Smith's dismissal was announced on Wednesday and it follows a suspension for a violation of team rules, announced on Nov. 1, prior to the Panthers' exhibition victory over UW-Parkside. Smith met with UWM coach Rob Jeter on Tuesday to discuss his future with the team.
"He didn't ask to come back and I didn't ask him to come back," Jeter said.
Smith, a 6-foot-3 guard from Milwaukee Washington High School, led the Panthers in scoring last season with a 15.5 ppg. average. He was named to the Horizon League's pre-season first team, the only UWM player to be so honored this year.
This might actually be good for UWM. If you watched them last year, it was fairly easy to see that Smith was not too big on the "team" concept.
Leading scorer and best player are not always one in the same.
He'd be the the 5th guy picked from that team if I was choosing sides.
Woot?
