That comes to mind for me, too. The Internet made me mad at Mrs. Shaka.
I have to pick just one?
I'll go .... Mike Brey was afraid of the ACC and wanted to come to Marquette.
anything that started with "my source says..."
That Marquette was seriously considering Shawn Kemp for the head coaching position
Bruce Weber was on a plane from Manhatten to MKE and all the GIFs that followed

Would have been a smart move. We could have eliminated recruiting completely since he could sire the entire team out of his own britches.
Brent is under investigation (albeit not NCAA investigation) for his role with the sexual assault that occurred two plus years ago (spread by an unnamed well known poster on this board) . That is the reason his buyout was reduced and forced out of MU.
Jamie Dixon to MU with Howland as his assistant like Keady at St. John's.
That the Kennedy Assasination was a CIA hit.

Where did you get that? Kennedy was a joint KKK-Mob hit because of Bobby's campaigns against organized crime and civil rights violations.
That Ron Paul and his blimp were going to Kenosha with Shaka.
Cuonzo Martin was a viable candidate because he was top 20 in offensive/defensive efficiency.
That the Big East is now a mid-major.
John Beilein to Marquette as identified on Twitter today.
Was reported as true today, despite the obvious prankster nature of the rumor given April Fool's Day.
Local radio in Michigan reported it based on the prank report.

Good thing would be that if he stayed here for 20 years, we never need to spend a nickel on recruiting anymore. We'd have 12 Kemps on scholarship.
Come to think of it - it might cost a little since they'd probably live in 12 different states.

I posted this and they tried to rape me. It was very ironic.

How could there be ANY rumor that was any bigger than that one.

Was pretty good in the past with recruiting and player movement - but blew the big one.

Willie and Ners are closet Buzz slurpers.
This was too easy. ;D
That presser at the AL that was rumored to be the coach announcement and they announced the banquet details .
"anyone else imagining Jerry wandering around the Al offices in an MU track suit with that hangdog look of his, pausing in front of each empty office, frowning and mumbling, turning off lights?" --MU Viking

Any rhetoric involving Jerry Wainwright was pretty great.
That anyone on scoop had any type of credible scoop.
Do I need to pick a rumor? Can't we just go back to the not-so-subtly referencing coaches thread? By far my favorite Scoop post (narrowly edges out Austin Grandstaff).

Come on. Mystic sources are always credible. Just because guys back out at the first whisper shouldn't put any Scoopers at fault for quoting their imaginations and any loser with a twitter account
Mike Hunt was breaking news which was remotely close to actually being breaking news.
Hologram Al
several of these rumors were actually true.
My favorite: Keefe and his poetry was actually Fr Pilarz.
Brian Wardle was wondering around on Wells trying to find Louie D's.

That Vander was actually kicked out of school last year and that's why he "went pro", starting the Buzz train derailment.
That Cuonzo Martin withdrew his name from consideration BEFORE being told MU was giving Wojo the job.
