A lot of coaches say that, but in the end do they actually play that style? Wojo said in the presser he wanted to play that way, so I checked out Duke's track record to see if it was lip service.
pace of play by year at Duke (MU pace in parens)
2003: 48 (224)
2004: 83 (223)
2005: 83 (307)
2006: 30 (57)
2007: 202 (105)
2008: 16 (119)
2009: 122 (85)
2010: 249 (304)
2011: 51 (129)
2012: 96 (16)
2013: 96 (239)
2014: 189 (164)
If he's anything like his mentor, we will be playing a style as fast or faster than what we are accustomed to seeing. I'm on board for that, and I'm sure the current/future players will be too.
It certainly matches the personnel we have for next season
And expect a lot of threes.
If we can get the inside-outside game going, it's going to be suh-weet!
Losing Gardner and Otule, yes we will play fast.

This is what I have been dying for.
We need some outside shots. Another reason why I think JJJ is in for a major minutes bump.
As long as MU wins the eFG% battle, nothing else matters. Or so I have read on the interwebs.

Plus Duane was what a 50%+ 3 point shooter in high school right?

I really hope someone proves they can hit a three consistently before we start taking 20+ a game. The active roster has some work to do on that front.
