Apologies if this has been posted already (I didn't see it, but there are an awful lot of threads all of the sudden...):
But from the ESPN article, Wojo says:
"I come from an environment where the expectation is to win, and that is why I chose Marquette," Wojciechowski said in a statement. "I am particularly impressed with Marquette's investment in men's basketball and I'm thrilled to join an institution with so much rich history in both basketball and academic excellence. Having been a student-athlete, I know first-hand what it takes to succeed both on and off the court, and I bring tremendous passion when it comes to shaping our players into successful athletes and men."
I like that his focus is on the investment in basketball, the history, and the student athletes rather than the recent successes. Say what you will, but I really think he could be a great fit here. Whether that's for 5 years or 25 years, who knows, but I'm excited to see how this plays out!
