Im sorry Gang.... I have to say this... I KNOW that Bill Cords has ALWAYS kept a " Possible Coaches List" in his desk drawer.. Because he has known the volatility of the Collegiate Mens BB regime.. There have been many broken contracts , "agreed " contracts only to be broken less than a week later only to go to another school... Well , Mr Bill Cords has been there for MU before, and thats why Fr Wilde brought Bill back to MU.. When I spoke to Bill at the DePaul game, and Thanked him for coming back to "right the MU ship and get us back to where MU should be and belongs", he very kindly said "thanks, but we have a few things that need to be taken care of, but we will be fine" My wife and I both found it to be kinda strange at that time, but now kind of Cryptic.. With that, NOW i see that he tried for the ultimate favorite Shaka, with the Full court Press, only to be spurned by da Missus, blah blah... But in the end, Bill, and his "list" will serve MU again. Very well... in the end we will be yelling: WE ARE MARQUETTE ! !!! In CORDS WE TRUST ! ! ! OK Im done...... 8-)
BTW I NOW want Wojo ! ! !
