Cuonzo Martin a candidate at Marquette; is he a good fit?
ESPN's Jeff Goodman reported earlier today that Tennessee head coach Cuonzo Martin has become a legitimate candidate for Marquette's head coaching position. This comes after Marquette showed interest in former UCLA head coach Ben Howland and VCU head coach Shaka Smart, the latter of whom rejected Marquette's offer. Winnin te conf regular season at Missouri state after bein so bad when he got there is impressive; that league was legit at the time- he's got pluses and minuses for sure- I'd think he's worth a interview at least and see if he impresses with his vision of MU
He is not a good fit. Hes a GREAT fit!
Let's see, Martin played well in college for a good team. Then he had a several good years in the NBA.
He did well in coaching at a small school and moved on to do bigger things.
