Napier singlehandedly put UConn on his back to beat Nova last week.
Kid looks like the best player in the tournament thus far.
I heard Todd was doing that for us. Any truth to that?
Figured I'd bump this topic. Anyone think he's another 83 minutes and 39 seconds left in him?
Whats with UCONN and senior point guards?
Shabazz Napier is pulling a Kemba Walker of 2011 in this Tournament.
This kid is "The Goods" see what having a good poiny guard can do for you??

Shout out to the Coach.... Kevin Ollie I remember when people were livid when he replaced Calhoun as Coach.... He didnt turn out to bad.....
NO!
We've been told by the basketball geniuses on this forum that it's the fault of all the players around Derrick Wilson that didn't step up as the reason Marquette struggled this year.
How dare you suggest that the point guard position is critical to the success of a team.
Shabazz Napier is the best guard in college basketball. Scouts will be drooling over him.

He definitely should be a lock for NCAA tournament most outstanding player after what he's done through the first four games.
Where's your tired 'Izzo is a genius' and reference to his quote regarding fans' memories? I've only seen it 1,437 times across the 312 topics you've started this last week.

Those basketball geniuses on this board are -Ignore User- to me so I barely see them.
Anyone with Half a Brain knows your only as good as your Starting Point Guard....
All these guys require a defender within 10 feet of them, set up teamates and are matchup nightmares... All of which ours doesnt.
Scotty Wilbilken = Stud Final Four
Shabazz Napier = Stud Final Four
Traevon Jackson = Solid Final Four
Kentucky and Michigan. . . Both have solid Point Guards Kentuckys Harrison will be in the NBA one of the 2 teams will be in the Final Four....
I honestly cant even put our #12 in a conversation with these guys.... You give us any of the above and were still playing or at least better than 17-15.....
Badgers road gets easier still

He is a great college point guard and think he is underrated as a prospect. Most mock drafts have him going at the end of the 2nd round though.

I don't think anyone disagrees with the fact that you are only as good as your strating PG. I think we disagree with notion that our backup was better than our starter.
It's total bs that a 7 seed gets a home game. Sorry but that is total bs.

We were only as good as our starter. Case closed.
Posted this after the round of 32.
Best singlehanded tournament performance since Kemba Walker three years ago in my mind.

I'm not sure if you think Buffalo or NYC was the home game for the team from Connecticut, but they have to play the games somewhere. I assume you mean NYC, and there's only 4 sites available by that point - they really don't have the flexibility or clairvoyance to be considering proximity of teams too much in the second weekend.

+1
I get the feeling that some fans would just assume we have all the games in Alaska to make sure there isn't some potential advantage.

Yeah.... let's a get a final four at the Resch Center in Green Bay, to avoid any advantages.

What if Brian Wardle puts together a magical season... It's got to be in Canada.
