For more of the MU game footage the all-access channel they have at gomarquette.com has video highlights of the game.
Man,
Now I gotta wait until i get home to check it out. I wish I could access streaming media at work but that's just not gonna happen. i can wait 1 more hour...
During the game, Trend had another very nice baseline move -- one dribble, jump stop and off the glass for a basket. It was overshadowed by this put back dunk, but was another very athletic, quick power move. He had a very efficient 10-15 minutes in the exhibition game. I hope its a sign of more to come. We will need his energy this season, especially since TM's injury.
I think if he can bring some energy off the bench (certainly athletic enough) and provide some efficient points (dunks, layups, etc.) he could be a nice player.
I would take 4pts and 4 rebs a game off of the bench. Maybe that is a little wishful, but that's about what I was hoping for out of Trevor (I always have modest expectations for frosh.), so hopefully Trend can step up and be the athletic guy off the bench who can ignite the crowd a little bit.
He's certainly exciting... and having him running down the wing on the break would be a scary thought... It's a poster waiting to happen.
