But it doesn't list any of the sources... They could have simply been parroting what has been posted by IWB.
Just baffled how that can go on TV without being confirmed.
They say fox in MKE is source. Fox in MKE says maybe.
When VCU players start tweeting etc I'll believe it. Until then... It's all rumors and VCU goes through this dance every year.
Completely irresponsible.
What's everyone's take on the silence? From both universities?
Just curious.

Both universities respecting the process to let Shaka say his goodbyes. Wishful thinking.
I think the scale is moving to believable. Press must have second source to publish.
Players wouldn't keep quiet. No way. They tell family friends etc.

Correct, until they are ready nothing will be said. That is will not confirm or deny is a typical response if pressed.
Can you send a few of the vcu players twitter handles?

There is no downside to reporting like this.
If they are right, they can crow about it. If they are wrong, they just pretend they never said anything or they blame it on a source being misinformed.
There are absolutely no consequences to being wrong.

I don't know about that, credibility is lost if reporters shoot their wad like most twitter users seem to do. Why else would Tom Pipines delete a tweet that he realized is unsubstantiated?
