Nobody going to the second weekend. Amazing when they play defense against you.
I recall once when Marquette was up by 18 with five minutes to go...

I thought we did play defense. I thouht that was the reason the freshman never played.

Yeah, but that was when Brent coached, aina?
I would love to wreak HAVOC on the BE - and beyond!
ACC had 5 go down, Virginia loses tonight and they get 0 too.
Baylor is really good. Long, athletic. They can shoot. They play like this and they can give any team fits.
Great season, Creighton. AMDG. Need Gonzaga to carry the Jesuit torch.
I couldn't really care less at this point.
Ass kickin'
Georgetown at Florida State, tomorrow in the NIT. :-\

Yup. 3 of my final 4 are still alive. But my interest has dwindled and is focused on news coming out of MU over the next few days.
Baylor/CU game reminds me of us against UNC.

BW didn't ask for defense from his players. He demanded Lock Down Defense from Game Changers!

Or the Elite eight game against Syracuse last year.
Regardless of how they played tonight, Creighton had a memorable season. The elder McDermott did a fantastic job, and the younger had one of the best careers in NCAA history.
Coach McDermott will need to use this season to bring in the recruits and keep the momentum going. Hopefully, they avoid a Butler-like letdown next season.
Meh.
The one problem with College basketball is that your season is solely judged on a weekend in march.
No other sport puts that much pressure on just one weekend.
Baylor getting to play in San Antonio as a 6...like us against Murray State in Louisville. I'd think Baylor still pounds them anywhere, but that's ridiculous.

The worst was Utah State in Boise. We get the better seed and have to fly across the country to play USU in their backyard. Game was a lot closer than it had to be....
Baylor offensively has ability to give any team in this tournament fits.
Baylor's length coupled with their zone and athleticism shut down McBuckets.
