::)Ahmed Hill is not coming here.  In fact I would be shocked if even one 2014 recruit ends up coming here.  Time to move on from them, just like we need to move on from Buzz.

From who?

Just saw this:

@KAGriff22: Sources: MU has a big announcement coming. Marquette to introduce Ben Howland. Heard it here first.

Goodman's response:

@mpwessel @KAGriff22 He may wind up getting it -- but trust me, not done by any means. Still in process.

Doesn't sound like "not our guy."

i'd like howland...and everything i read makes it sound like he wants MU.  if that's the case, and MU isn't moving on him quickly, does it mean someone like Marshall is interested?

Probably a done deal...waiting till Wednesday to get max publicity.

Doubt Howland would want that, and hopefully whoever is making the hire is smart enough to know better.  The sooner the better.  Start talking to the players and recruits who may be wondering if they will be attending Marquette next year.

If Howland does get the job this week, does he appear on CBS next week?  MU lapel pin and all?

I truly hope so.  He'll win at MU...for a long time.

Wouldn't he actually have more flexibility to contact recruits and get things lined up before he is officially named the new coach?

Buzz's maroon and yellow hanky and maroon tie looked like an after thought straight out of Walmart.  Must have picked it up on the way to the airport.

Having watched the NCAAT and Buzz on the half time shows I honestly can't decide if he's a complete hypocrite or if he justifies everything he's done through delusions of grandeur therefore finding nothing wrong with this current departure.

Regardless, this post makes me laugh.

Just a guess but that would be a very slippery slope...

Why wouldn't he have stopped at the Blacksburg Gucci or Prada shop?

He certainly didn't sound like anything he said was 'forced' if you know what I mean.  He's either a fantastic liar or he genuinely believes his motivations are pure through whatever justifications he's choosing to use.

It's the latter.  He's the foremost authority on life.  Gives the pitch that he knows all there is to know about life to recruits, during every interview he tells everyone the facts of life and how he seamlessly applies this knowledge to everything he does.

More and more I'm thinking Buzz got "Buzz cut" by MU.
