Title: Did Buzz Burn Bridges With His Fellow BE Coaches?
Post by: Tugg Speedman on March 21, 2014, 08:04:19 PM
Thinking about this post

http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=42723.msg589055#msg589055

"But the breakup of the Big East has changed the nature of the Marquette job, and the school is still without an AD, meaning Williams has no idea who his boss might be in a year. That uncertainty was enough to make Williams jump to Virginia Tech, sources told CBSSports.com."

Interpreted, the BE sucks.  Is this fair?

If this is correct, does this insult Jay Wright, JTIII, Cooley, Mack at X, McDermott at Creighton, and so on.  Buzz just told them they are losers for staying.

During the post game pressers at the NCAA, Will Wright, Cooley and/or McDermott be asked:

"Coach, Buzz Williams of MU just left for VT and said the breakup of the Big East has changed the nature of the Marquette job.  Do you feel it changed the nature of your job too and do you feel it is a lesser conference?"

How should the other coaches feel that Buzz forced them to answer this question?

They should answer that question just like Marc Marotta would:  "For him to leave Marquette is one of the most idiotic moves I've ever seen anyone make."

If they were honest they'd admit it does.

That certainly doesn't mean any of them leave.  Jay Wright is a better coach than Buzz and JTIII has a better job than the one Buzz left.
