Well said and totally agree with your perspective. Marquette made the NIT once with no NCAA appearances during my 4 undergraduate years and the past 6 years have been phenomenal in comparison. Yes this season has been disappointing, but the negativity directed at the players and particularly the seniors has been disappointing.  This tough season ended so abruptly, maybe next year's expectations will be slightly lowered and people will enjoy the team for what they are and our next tourney run will be more appreciated. Thanks for the post Bama.

Bravo.

And, kudos to a successful senior class.

Well said.   Thank you, seniors for being part of two Sweet Sixteens and an Elite 8.    Thank you for representing MU with dignity and class.    I am sure that you are as frustrated as everyone else that this season did not come together as expected.    That does nothing to diminish what you did accomplish.   Bravo.

Thumbs up.

As fans, we are really spoiled right now and if you read these boards, we sound like spoiled little rich kids who only got a pony for christmas instead of a car. I wish our seniors would have had a better season, but i wish that for them, not because i'm unhappy with the program.  Anyway, best of luck to a great group of guys.

Dam right.  I see the usual naysayers are absent.  They're too young to know what it was like and expect too much now.  Be grateful for what you have (had) in front of you these past 6 years.

pshhh, i'm plenty young and i still appreciate what we have had.  Listen, after Kentucky went from National Champs to losing the NIT in the first round, i realized that bball was a fickle game. Anyone who wants to talk crap about Buzz + Crew after one bad season is an idiot.

Thank you for mentioning Kentucky.  A more arrogant bunch of fans that think they are entitled to success I have never met (including Domers).  While I am terribly disappointed in this season and want expectations to be high, I also think we need to step back and appreciate just how much these seniors accomplished.  Sorry that you went out this way, but thank you for the great memories.
