So, in that bracket MU could play GB or Indiana.
Finding it very hard to care...very hard. It's not because I'm a spoiled fan. It's because this team so drastically underachieved.
I think im one of the few who would rather win the NIT than lost in the 1st round of the NCAA. I mean, wichita st. won the NIT not too long ago. Just sayin.
Loser's tournament. Thanks buzz and the seniors for a job well done.

Would we play in minnesota if we were to take care of business against Toledo?

Correct 7:30pm CT, on ESPNU.
Stop whinning folks. Consider the NIT a preview of Buzz's coaching for next year. This will be the best indicator if he will more aggressively with the young bloods or more same old same old.

Classy as usual.
Must be nice to never come up short in your life.
BTW, Buzz and these seniors are better at playing and coaching basketball that most people on this board have ever been, or will be at anything.
We fo-sho should be seeing a lot more Deonte Burton over the next few games. I too think that Buzz will tip his hand a bit regarding p.t., looking to next year as opposed to rewarding the seniors, or even heavy minutes juniors. Reward them for what?

I think that's a gross generalization that's based solely on elevating basketball above other more important and critical components of modern society.
I will be watching MU with bells on, water under the bridge on the previous season, hopefully great things to come..... Go Marquette

Agreed. Don't recall a message board about our successes or failures. Hmm, however, for those doing great things for society well, glad someone is.

I'm not sure if that's true. I don't see Buzz suddenly changing his lineups and/or approach because it's the NIT.

I'm with you--Final Four NIT would be a fantastic run to end this season.

Yep, more awesomely spoiled jag off MU fans here. Go eff a duck you jags.
Too bad they were not better at playing and coaching basketball that the 15 teams they lost to.

Nope. It's not a value judgment on the importance of bball. I am simply saying that because Buzz and his players are at the highest level of college bball, they are likely better at that than most people here are at whatever they have chosen to do in their lives. I think that is a pretty safe assumption.
Sucks to not be in the dance but a one and done doesn't help the younguns on this team.
A deep run in the NIT will.
Down to the last grouping...
Nothing like sweating out an NIT bid...
us and gtown still left

Playing in the regular season would have helped them too.

If not so embarrassing, this would be hilarious. Ugh.
With no quality, big wins, not surprised. Damn shame to a season which was strange to say the least.
Let the PG position debate continue. Now it didn't get MU to the NIT and MU not even a top 100 program this year. Yikes......
And people thought we were a bubble team a few weeks ago....LOL

Wow. No IU either. I would have lost money betting against that happening.

That was before they lost 4 in a row.

A few weeks ago they were. Not sure why you take so much pleasure in dashing other people's hopes.
