Headed there to meet up with a couple buddies who are there for the weekend.
I know about power plant live and the lexington market (been to both, albeit very briefly), but anybody got any other suggestions? Things to do/see? Neighborhoods/areas/streets with good bars would be especially appreciated. Thanks.
Cheers
Edit: any alums in the area getting together anywhere to watch the Johnnies game?

You won't regret it.
Pratt Street Brewery has good beer and food. The Lexington Market is the best. They have the best Sushi ever!!!!
I love the canton area. Nacho Mamas has decent bar food. Lots of cool little bars in that area. Fed Hill is also a cool area.
* I've visited the Inner Harbor stuff. That's where many of the tourist attractions and restuarants are located. There's plenty of things there.
* Babe Ruth's house (or his dad's bar?) is just outside the Camden Yards outfield wall.
* If you're into authors, you can visit the Edgar Allen Poe house.
* Fort McHenry if you want to see where the event happened that influenced the writing of The Star Spangled Banner.
* I liked The Washington Monument perhaps for the steep, winding 228 steps for a bird's-eye view of Baltimore.
* I remember going to some big brewhouse, but I all I remember was drinking a lot of beer.
* I've been to Lexington Market too.
* When in Baltimore you must opt to eat Crabcakes.
You have to try the crab cakes. Skat mentioned Costas' and they are solid but the absolute best crab cakes are at G&M which is less than 10 minutes from the Inner Harbor. G&M is hands down the best.

I think the best place to spend an evening in Balmer is Fells Point. You can really get a feel for Balmer's maritime heritage in Fells Point and there is no shortage of watering holes. When I get back that way that is where I do my drinking.
A worthwhile side trip is Annapolis. Not sure how much time you have but Annapolis is a great place and it's only 30 minutes from the Inner Harbor.

Agreed. I'm more of a steamed crab & old bay on newspaper type-of-guy :)
+10 on G&M crab cakes. I won't leave town without one.
Have to get to Littly Italy and go to Sabitino's...not sure if I spelled the restraurant right.
But Great Italian food...garlic bread is the best ever...Bob Uecker used to talk about it all the time when they were in town to play Baltimore.
