Love the Buffet closer line for Davante.

Love the Buffet closer line for Davante.
I'd say a very deep sleeper.

I'd say still asleep, but hey, why not.
If MU were to win a game or two in NYC, one thing MU has going for them is their bench depth. Would be nice if this played at factor at MSG next weekend.
I agree: Marquette is a sleeper.
Problem is someone needs to wake their asses up!
Induced coma sort of sleeper.
Dancin!

At this point, we can hope (and cheer them on) to win the BE Tourney. A cool vision would be for them to win the BE Tourney (or go deep and get an at-large bid) and then have Mayo pull out a DWade performance for a few games in the Big Dance. A guy can dream, can't he?
Based on the lineup we use we have a punchers shot. With the right line-up we have a shot in the BET.
Marquette is a sleeper all right -- the way a bear is a sleeper in the wintertime. Nobody is going to wake this animal up.
Put a fork in it -- we're done!
Anyone else notice that they referred to Davante as "the buffet closer." I'm assuming that's a fat joke?

And just when is El Buzzo going to succeed with that "Punchers Shot?"
Marquette beats Providence.
Georgetown beats Depaul.
Georgetown beats Creighton.
Marquette beats Georgetown.
Marquette plays Villanova for championship. We are serious dogs on this one, but the third time is the charm. MU WINS!!!
Gotta believe. Go Georgetown.

I dunno. I'd say they've landed some pretty good blows the last couple post-seasons, wouldn't you?
As many have said, MU has been asleep since November 16th. Why would they wake up now?

For MU to be the 6th seed, they have to lose tomorrow. I dont want to sign up for that.

I gave up on them waking up a couple weeks ago. I dont think its about being asleep. When you don't have the horses, you don't have the horses. I think Tuesday showed that. they played to their brand, but in the end it still wasnt enough. That said, get the right match ups which exist within the conference, and you may not necessarily need the horses.
Marquette absolutely can be a sleeper! We need to roll with Dawson, Mayo, Deonte, Jamil, and Gardner for 30 plus minutes a game in the BE tourney and let the chips fall where they may! This would give us a fighting chance and the potential to pull off a couple of upsets. Use Derrick, Jake, Taylor, and Otule in certain situations that call for their talents. As much as I want JJJ to play, I have given up hope that Buzz will do that this year. Oh, and no Juan under any circumstance ;D

It's not like it wasn't enough. It was just a boneheaded play when we were up 3 with 10 seconds to play. We should have won that game or ini your parlance, we had the horses to win the game, but a horse or two had a hiccup.

That won't happen under your namesake MUBuzz.

I know, one can dream though!
MU has been sleeping on 3 point defense all year. Tweak the lineup and the Warriors will awaken.

Good point. I don't either...but I liked where we sat in that bracket.
I'm sleeping but dreaming big. Wake me up after we beat the Johnnies.
Teams 1-8 all have the potential to win the BET. It's going to be an entertaining ride!
