Sounds about right... home team usually gets 3-4 points.
I'm gonna add, I like MU by 4 tomorrow.
This games outcome will mostly be decided by the refs. Providence does not have a lot of depth. Providence also is(was)? leading the country in free throw percentage. A low foul game keeps them off the line, but their depth is less of a problem and probably favors Providence. A medium foul called game probably benefits Providence more than Marquette. A high foul game like the last Georgetown game favors MU.
Tall order on Batts and Cotton's senior day. But they haven't beaten a team with a winning record since January 25.
Ed Cooley was sure making some insinuations he couldn't wait to get MU back in Providence.....just the kind of bulletin board material Buzz thrives off of. I could see this game going either way - MU wins a close one - or they get beat by 10+
Honestly, I am struggling to see how MU wins this. I doubt they will be able to hold Cotton down like they did at the BC. I think it is fairly obvious what this team is - an above average team that is NIT bound.
My thoughts? I don't plan on being on this board after the game tonight

I tend to agree. I am only marginally more optimistic than I was going into the Villanova game.
Time to hide all the sharp objects until after the game. Line seems fair on this one and should be close if MU plays to its potential
I think we win this one.
I'm way more optimistic about this game than Saturday...MU wins tonight by 5+
How can we possibly know what will happen without knowing whether Jamil will show up or not. If he has 14+ we win.

I agree. If ee can't win this one then we most certainly belong in the NIT.

I would be more confident if it weren't for the dreaded 48 hour turn around. I'll still say MU by 2
Got a feeling it ain't gonna' be our night tonight. Held PC to 14 first half points before pulling it out at the end. Not gonna' hold PC to 14 points at home on Senior Night tonight. I'll be there regardless. Hope we don't mail it in.
said it before - think Georgetown may have been last victory of the year pending seeding in BET - if a 4 or 5 seed, it may be next year season we see another MU. STJ is not a good matchup as well.
wonder if buzz will run all 10-11 guys in waves of 4 and 5 again like last time. that seemed to work in wearing out PC who only really plays 7 guys...
eyeing my liquor cabinet for tonight's anesthetic. Got my fingers crossed but a win would be a pleasant surprise

It's not like MU doesn't have room for improvement. We shot 39% overall, 19% from deep, and 66% from the line.

So what do you project as your choice from the cabinet?
In honor of the upcoming st. Pats day good whiskey is a must!
The line is now showing Prov by only 2.5. That means the money is coming in on MU. Good sign hopefully.
So what's the 3 point disparity going to be tonight?
