Vander got the best of McNeal
http://www.nba.com/dleague/games/20140302/DELBAK/gameinfo.html?ls=gt2hp2021300295#nbaGIboxscore
47 pts, 10-18 shooting, 6-11 3pt, 21-24FT, 7 rebs, 5 assts, 1 steal, 5TOs
seriously, how can the guy not get run for the 76ers?
Technically they weren't guarding each other, but Vander had a hell of a game.

Currently, DJO is #2 and Vander is #10 on the NBADL Prospect Watch (Ripe for Being Called Up).
BTW, DJO scored 20 last night: http://www.nba.com/dleague/games/20140302/CTNSPG/gameinfo.html?ls=gt2hp2021300294#nbaGIRadio

Good to see Vander getting into over-drive just in time for the BE and the NCAA tournaments javascript:void(0);
Seems like Jerel hasn't been playing for a few months. I'd like to see the matchup again when he's fit.

That is about as ridiculous a box score can get...regardless of the level of play.
Vander Blue, your table is ready.
It's a joke that our guys aren't getting called up. I don't blame these guys for going to Europe to make more $. What more do you have to do to get a shot? NBA is so focused on potential it's frustrating sometimes because it's almost like you hurt yourself by producing.
had 47 the other niht for his NBDL team.
10-18 FGM-FGA 6-11 3FG 21-24 FT's
Thats big time work ad only 2 To's, good for him
Conversely, Jerel Mcneal playing for the opponent had 19,but6 turnovers. He is a very very good NBDL playerbut unfortuntely im not sure theNBA is in his cards. The NBA is full of really high basketball IQ players in addition to their talent and it is so frustrating to watch Jerel. As talented as he is I am not sure i have ever watched a poorer decision maker than Jerel.

Making your decisions based on what spirits tell you is never good.
I think Lazar was the ghost whisperer, not Jerel.

Hot damn! The thought of what our team could be with his talent is mind boggling. Glad to see he is doing well.
35 on Friday, 47 on Saturday. D League Breakout Player of the Week
I wonder how Davante would do in the D-League...

And look at the #1 D league player, Manny Harris. Dude is averaging 31.2 PPG and 7.8 RPG. Guess the good teams have a set rotation, and some of these guys are too good to help the bad teams tank.

Good observation. If you're trying to tank, getting rid of all your talent, etc. You're not going to take a chance on bringing a d-league guy in and he blows up.
You will probably find out next year

Never thought of this. It's a very good point. DJO and Blue may need to wait for next season to earn their roster spots.
What do you consider poor decision making?

Agree with the Aggie. A decision to stay would have Vander blowing up on the National scene right now as a college senior leading a very good team, with a history of grooming hard working players who contribute beyond expectations to their NBA teams, to the NCAA tourney.
He would be writing his own ticket. No way the risky path he took and is taking could have taken him to the place where he would sit today had he stayed. People say, "How do you know that?" Been blessed with being around a while. I know that. Surely, he's made a lot of money this year, without his senior campaign. But now Vander knows too what many have said is true. He's making up for what could have been, not realizing it.
