Mark Miller predicted 2015 top 75 PG Glynn Watson to MU. Usually a good indicator of a future commitment.
Interesting considering we already have Nick N signed.

Glynn. We already have our hands full with O'tule and Devante. No thanks.
3 guard lineups? Nick and Glynn split point. Duane, Dawson, Hill at 2. Hill, Johnson at 3?
Too many point guards...

Buzz has stated in the past he wants one PG in every class. We didn't get one in 2014 so we get 2 in '15?

With Stone, why not?

Well technically Duane Wilson would be a 2014 "recruit" now.

If only this year's team had less depth at PG...
I'm still puzzled about scholarship counts.
What if this guy wants to come here. Aren't we going to run short with some of the other possibilities coming down the pike. There's another thread that has a link to a spreadsheet with scholarship counts...seems like we're out. Are they assuming someone will quit?

Fixed.
Just saw Bullseye say that Florida recently got in touch with Watson about setting up a vist.
Kid is ultra quick, very smooth. A bit out of control and surprise, can be a bit lazy on defense.
Very thin so would be interesting to see how he bulks up and if he might move to the 2G

He's under 6' - probably closer to 5'10"
Assuming everything stays the same we will have 3 scholarships open for 2015(Watson's class). They will come from Juan, Mayo and Derrick.
Nick is already committed so we have 2 spots left. If Watson would verbal we would have 1 spot left.
As of now we are full for next year....somebody would have to leave for us to add Harris or somebody else.

His backcourt mate is Nationally ranked Jordan Ash. There are times when Ash will bring the ball up and Watson will play off the ball.

No such thing in college hoops. Look at Marquette, 2013/4 as an example.

oh-oh...where's derek in your lineups? i'm surprised no one picked that up and made a stink. i believe derek could still find a good role in a guard heavy lineup. if you've got 2 bigs who can run the floor and shoot the 3(ellenson and fischer) rotate d stone in to give one of the 2 bigs a break. cohen is 6'5", shayok is 6'7", and hill is 6'4". so the guard positions look pretty good size-wise and will be able to mix it up underneath if asked/taught. hopefully the shooting thing will take care of itself, but i see this as potentially an awesome lineup

That's because Derrick wouldn't be here in 2015 when Watson is a freshman. Derrick has only next year left for eligibility.
oh, thanks, my mistake. thought we were talking about next year

If only we hadn't lost Niv Berkowitz!
I'm thinking that this development and the Jarvis Garrett decision are related. As in Marquette found out about Glynn and that got Buzz to back off Jarvis. Back to Mardi Gras.

No mention of Marquette here 2 months ago. Well, nothing other than we offered. Maybe he's been keeping it close for a while?
Here's one more vid from a month ago, kind of hard to listen to with the background noise. Same stuff though.

For what school?
MU has been involved here and there for a long time, but recently I don't think much. I think we let the spring/summer start to play out with him on the radar.
Projects to be focused more on being a distributor / running the offense in college than his brother was (Demetri McCamey - who was quite a bit bigger and had a larger appetite for scoring).
I think Creighton has Glynn scheduled for the Providence game a week from today.
The Jarvis G thing... never believed it.
This one.. I think he's another that MU will continue to monitor. Not sure it's going to make sense though.

Jay Bee:
Besides obviously Stone, what do you think does make sense for 2015? Thanks
Noskowiak could definitely play the 2 guard at times if necessary, IMO. 6'2 is adequate height for a 2 guard.

BeeJay's talking outta his ass. He doesn't know what he's talking about.
Buzz recruit but just realeased his top 5 and no surprised but we did not make it. Good shot at Creighton landing this kid. Pretty obvious Wojo wants a SG and big man.

I wouldn't phrase it as "we did not
make it"... separate topic, but I think Wojo wants good players that fit.
As for Watson.. I don't mean this in the wrong way.. but back to the March 1 quote:

Only two scheduled officials right now are Nebraska at the end of the month and Creighton at the beginning of September. Hopefully he becomes a Jay.
Committed to Nebraska today.
