Hunt reads scoop,

Picking a top Buzz Williams quote, of course, is like trying to pick the best Coen Brothers movie.

They're all good.

But after Davante Gardner plowed his way for 26 points Thursday night in the 75-73 victory against Georgetown, Williams went on and on about his relationship with the big guy who has been the subject of the coach's barbs over the years.

Then he said:

"People who don't know me think I disparage him," Williams said. "We call him 'Avante.' He doesn't have any D. But he's my guy."

Priceless.

I'm hoping for them too.

But since you like the eye test.

15-4. That was the hole that we got into at the beginning starting Chris and Juan.

No offense, none. EVER. And, Ironically no defense either.

Want the beginning of the ASU game too? Since its the eye test and all.

The eye test said Georgetown couldn't miss early and Jamil was MIA.  It couldn't last.   Gardner came in and performed well.   Todd came in for Juan and......was outplayed by Juan.   But, his presence on the floor did make Georgetown guard him.    If you actually watched the game, based on your observations, who were the best 5 MU players last night.   I got Jake, Davante, STjr, Juan and nobody.   And that line up was out there for a while playing zone.

lololololol stop it.

Juan was horrible. We got dug into a early 15-4 hole with him in the game.

Once again, our best lineup will always be Derrick, Jake, Todd, Davante andJamil.

Play Deonte when needed. Let Juan be sporadic energy(please for the love of god no more than 3 minutes at a time( and give Chris some minutes. Dawson too at times to spell Derrick.

Todd, Davante and Jamil should all get 30 minutes or more a game. We would win so many games that way.

Yeah--that took a whole bunch of brains to make that statement. Calling out a ref's son is going to get the team a lot of favorable calls from that ref in the future.
