Say what you want about the way they won a few games, but MU is at least taking care of business against the teams they should beat. 5 wins in the last 6 games is solid...
Really Solid, they are finishing strong. . .
Any East Coast Fans coming to the Nova Game on Sunday??
February games predict tournament games. Lets hope the committee realizes this.

Pure, raw, intoxicated joy.
How come none of the female fans ever get that feeling?

Pretty sure Nova when Todd hit the game-tying FT
Our spanish class had a good laugh at that. Hes proud of it though so good for him.
Of note is that committee does look at last 10 games to see how teams are trending. We are 7-3 in last 10...6-2 in last 8. If we can take 2 of next 3...we finish out 7-3 in last 10..with season sweeps over Providence and GTown (assuming Providence is one of 2 wins). Combine that with 11-7 record in Big East and likely 3rd place finish...think a case can be made for us being solidly in tourney...a lock if we'd go on to win 1 game in BE Tourney.

I thought the committee stopped doing this?

That RPI just isn't moving. The forecast tool was way off on the Georgetown win and I am concerned with how high it can get without a win at Nova.
In order to be a "lock" I think MU has to win out.

They did.
I stand corrected...too bad...and seems like it should still have some merit...hate to see a team back its way into tourney playing poor ball down the stretch and get in on the merits of what it did in December..

I'm as optimistic as the next guy, but I agree. We could get in if we lose to Nova, but winning out is the only way to lock it down.

Ironically, Georgetown jumped ahead of us in Pomroy after last night's loss...went from 65 to 54 and we fell from 53 to 57....this happens of course due to all of the other results from games last night..

They did.
I'd speculate they still pay attention to how teams finish, they just don't use it as an official metric like they did before.
For the record, I'm ok if they use last 10 for seeding purposes, but it shouldn't determine "in or out".... That should be body of work
