Title: Night of upsets
Post by: downtown85 on February 27, 2014, 10:43:39 PM
I just noticed that there were 6 ranked teams playing unranked teams tonight.  5 of them lost.

Notably, Indian beat Iowa and Ohio State lost to Penn State.  Also, St. Louis lost at home to Duquesne.

Not sure any of this has relevance to the bubble for us.

Indiana does depending on how they do on the next few games.

The Arkansas overtime win (sweep) at UK hurt the most for bubble teams.

Maybe some UK recruits should change their minds after watching Coach Cal lose once again with on paper the most talented team in the country.

Going to OT now, one of the most unbelievable chokes (comebacks) in last minute I've seen in a while.  Ducks thankfully have blown many opportunities to ice it, including their 96% and 85% ft shooters missing 3 ft's.  They also should have purposefully missed the last ft with 1.3 sec left.  Sick.

We all gotta be hoping that UCLA drives a nail into Oregon's conference record. They have been so cold in Pac-12 play.

PSU swept Matta and the Buckeyes.
