Title: Scholarship Spreadsheet
Post by: PistolPete on February 25, 2014, 02:30:49 PM
Can somebody direct me to the MS Excel scholarship spreadsheet? I used to subscribe to it via Google Drive, but cannot locate it.

Thank you.

Couple of questions about the worksheet:
1. Would Duane Wilson be Blue->Green->Yellow from this year thru 15/16 since he redshirt.
2. How does the "-1" work (available Scholarships) next year...will someone have to be off-scholarship or are transfers figured in.
3. What happens if two good recruits commit to 15/16...say Matthews and Stone (for example). Can they both be offered if we have only "1" available (as indicated in the available Scholarships in the bottom row)? Or is some transfer expected?

Thanks for the help.

1. Duane Wilson hasn't officially redshirted yet (and can't until the season is over), so my guess is that the mods are waiting.

2. If Malek Harris signs, and every freshman shows up and no one transfers, someone will have to leave.

3. Once something is resolved for 2014-15, another spot opens up for 2015-16 so we will have plenty of room.  Say for instance (HYPOTHETICALLY) that Harris doesn't sign and everything else goes as predicted.  We would then have 13 players for next year...and only 11 committed for 2015-16.

At this time of year, you're allowed to be "oversigned" for future seasons.  By how many, I'm not sure...

Or Todd's brother ponies up the money for tuition.  :)
