Title: Homer Questions For February 26
Post by: Tugg Speedman on February 24, 2014, 09:31:03 AM
I assume that Buzz is back on his regular schedule and will be doing his show this Wednesday, February 26.

So, post questions for Homer here.

I'll start ...

"How is JJJ progressing?  I asked because he was DNP the last two games."

What's wrong with Juan's outside shot?  He hasn't made one in ages, and he's developed a hitch in what - one short year ago - was a very smooth shooting motion.  Is it a confidence thing, or has he picked up a bad habit?   Do you have a shooting coach working with these guys?

What do you consider when deciding whether or not to foul when up 3 in the final seconds?

You said you get it that Derrick can't shoot. Can't shooting be taught? Do the coaches work with him on his shooting?

Is he happy with Derrik's BA:AA (Basic Assist:Actual Assist) ratio?

In hindsight, so you feel you were over coaching by taking the timeout at the end of regulation against DePaul, as opposed to letting Derrich shoot a wide open 70-foot jumper?

Given that you only beat DePaul by 2 in OT, if you receive an invite to the NCAA tournament, will you accept it?

Do you think Navin is the most idiotic MU fan or is their possibly someone else that comes to mind?

Was the in-bounds play you drew up at the end of regulation in the De Paul game to throw the ball deep enough to the other end of the floor so when De Paul intercepted the ball they wouldn't have enough time to get a shot off and win the game?

Those who require teal make themselves look foolish.

Does Buzz prefer the stultifying banality of the Dodds site or the invigorating candor of Scoop for his pre-game planning and post-game lessons learned analysis?

Awesome.

My question; are you ever tempted to consult with scoop fan about game plans and lineups?
