Title: OT: A new way to celebrate in CA...
Post by: 77ncaachamps on October 28, 2007, 09:37:55 PM
...with SPRECHER'S ROOTBEER!

Just confirmed it at my local Safeway. They're on sale, too! 2 4-packs for $7.

Sprecher now in California SAFEWAY and VON's stores

Sprecher has managed to get statewide coverage in California Safeway stores with facings for our Root Beer, Lo-Cal root beer, Puma Kola and Ginger Ale. If you have been having trouble finding Sprecher in California, look no further than your local Safeway or Von's store, or shop online for delivery at SAFEWAY and VON's.

Good to know.  My wife picks up a few cases every few months out here usually from a beverage distributor.  Unfortunately there is no Vons or Safeway super close, but we will have to find a way.

Just got back. A little disappointed. Hit up two Safeways and all they had were Lo-Cal RB, Puma Kola, and Ginger Ale. Suffice to say, I grabbed a Lo-Cal just to appease the curiousity and was able to secure a stashed away regular RB! :)

Lo-Cal is NAS-TY! Stay A-WAY from it.

Any thoughts on the Kola and Ale? I'll probably try one or the other on the next go-around.

ale tastes a bit like pine needles, isn't the traditional Canada dry ginger ale. Kola is good, has a little spice to it.
