Great W. Could be DeWil. Could be Davante.
Not today! It's Jake!
Jake.
Derrick
Ox
Jamil
Todd
Those 4 all get shoutouts as well for having big time moments in this one.
Jake!
Jake. D.Wil had a great game, but when we needed buckets with Xavier going on a run, Jake lit the building on fire knocking down open shots.
He gets it today.
1. Jake
2. Derrick
3. Gardner
4. Todd
5. Whoever is coaching free throws.
Seriously no doubt about this one.
JAKE!

that's the lineup
Jake. A terrible meltdown ensues without the power of the three.
If not for DWil steals, game is in doubt. No TO's. Helluva game.
Jake's line speaks for itself.
Good games from others too -JWil and Mayo in particular.
I go DWil
So many candidates - never thought I'd say it: Jake.

It's Jake... from State Farm
JT23
The Traditional
Didn't get to watch today. When people say Jake hit open shots... How did he get open?
The guy who some here say is not good enough for D1
Gimmee a J
Gimmee a A
Gimmee a K
Gimmee a E
What's it spell?
Jake!
Jake!
Jake!
Jake - Congrats on first SOTG.
Runner Up: Derrick
Runner Up 2: Mayo
It doesn't surprise me the team is much better with Mayo finally being given the minutes he deserves, and has deserved all season long (in my opinion)...yet I didn't think he alone could have such a HUGE impact. Certainly helps when Derrick shows up with a GREAT defensive game..as well as hitting some good shots in transition off of his steals.

+1
JT - but also any of the other 4 that played most of the way

He had a great game today...his whole season is where the D2 comments come into play.

Great ball movement and spacing.
Todd was brilliant at finding him open today.
Jake got hot and just kept canning them.
Ekaj
(pronounced ee-kah-jay)
I really want to give it to Jake....but I have to give it to Derrick Wilson
9 points, 3 boards, 4 assists, 6 steals, 0 turnovers, and dare I say game changing defense?
But Jake did hit the big shots when we needed them...either would be a solid choice
DWill in the first half and Jake in the second.
Funny it is two of the most maligned guys around here.
Also funny that Jake now has twice as many threes as our next closest player. Strange for a guy whom many around here were cocksure he could hit a three against quality competition.
Jake with D Wilson a close second.
1.Jake
2.Davante
3.Derrick
Dee Davis off Xavier.....
For leaving Jake Open All Night in 2 straight Games against Xavier.
His defense had to be the SOTG

Funny. You can't even give someone credit for doing something. It is the other person doing something wrong. Classy.
Jake/DWil
I think this game deserves to have the first tie...Jake and Derrick co-SOTG.
JT!
Jake
1. Derrick
2. Jake
Jake. Dwil clos behind.
Have to choose between Derrick and Jake.
I mean, what else is new?
Same ol', same ol'.
As usual.
Let's go with the Jakester for doing what he's paid the big bucks to do.
Jake the snake
Jake the Sniper and Derrick the Game Changer. Slurp, slurp.

I think this would be correct thing to do.
The TO's and 3's were the difference, why not Derrick and Jake? A half-point for each.

Xavier played a lot of zone and did not key on Jake. You never want to let a three point shooter get on a roll.

Because you 3 others guys were also huge. It's stud of the game we gotta go with 1.
As I said I think it's jake. Derrick leading the honorable mention pack.
Jake with DWil as a close second. Again, I want the DWil, Jake, Todd guard line for 30 minutes a game. They're complimenting each other well.

Yup tonights minutes were great. Depending on the match up and how the game is going maybe a few more minutes for Ox and less for Jake and Dwill(the had 38 and 39 today).
But we found the main 5 lineup that best compliments each other.
Jake = SOTG
Jake.
Great games by the Wilson Twins.
Jake for sure if he can't get SOTG today he never will.......and that would be a shame. Derrick's defense on Christon was fantastic, but it's got to be Jake. Hope he chucks like that the rest of the year!!
Jake. (I guess Xavier does do much scouting before games)
Ja-rek!!
The oft-malinged backcourt was stellar today....AND dang that crow tasted great!!
All right, give it to Jake, but DWill ought to be a co-honoree! Without him, Xavier wins.
We won because our defense forced a boatload of turnovers. Last I saw, I think it was 15 turnovers. Now folks, that's defense!
Jake, a SOTG virgin no more.

To be fair. I think there are legitimately 5 players that played yesterday(we all know who) that you could say without them, Xavier wins.
Wow I can't believe Derrick Wilson got hosed for SOTG! Definitely most deserving.
