Picture attached....yes we have the ball, and it is being dribbled by #12 at the time of this shot...illustrates the challenges we face as a team...we got bailed out on this possession with the Seton Hall player getting called for a foul on DG trying to make a curl cut.
Was pleased with the win, but think it was fools gold of sorts. Not going to have many games with that type of FT and rebound disparity...kudos to Jamil for balling his ass off on the glass (his effort there in my opinion was of greater impact than even his scoring), along with Devante and Todd getting after it at the basket and getting to the line.
I don't have 1,000 words.
I do have one to describe this post though: sad.
I could fight/argue/debate about it. But it's not worth it at this point. The last week has been nice without this back and forth topic. And I thought (hoped?) that atmosphere would continue, especially after tonight's game. Guess not.
I'm still disappointed that Dawson only got 9 minutes. Quality road minutes would only help his development. I feel like this win gives us a false sense of hope against the likes of Nova, Creighton etc come BE tourney time.
Ners, find something else to post about, or we'll soon help you with your moratorium.
