Beginning Dec. 17, Marquette has been astoundingly consistent. One game in the win column, the next in the loss column for 13 consecutive outings. One on the left side of the standings, one on the right. Left, right, left,...

Win, loss, win, loss?
No way. I did not notice that.
Great right up with some really nice stats to back it up.
1 thing based on your thread title. I think it's less "choosing the right mayo" but straight up choosing Mayo. Let him play, let it ride. That is the best chance to get the so called good Todd. And that is the best chance and possibly only chance to win.

Thanks. Yeah, I tried to be clever with the title...I missed.
That right up was write on.
However, Todd Mayo is a Junior guard, not a Senior.

No you didn't. Mayo has been as bad in the losses as he has been good in the wins. We definitely need Mayo to step up and start consistently delivering solid performances. He doesn't have to be SOTG every game as long as he eliminates the truly awful performances.

Thanks for catching that. Not sure why I had senior...brain fart I guess.
Good God, New Jersey Institute of Technology!!. Is that a school that plays basketball or a school that engineers bridges and traffic control patterns for Christie?

Hope Buzz agrees. Mayo has the talent, just needs the minutes and the confidence if he misses that the next will go in. Let him play even if he misses.

Geez, only a 37.7 percent chance that the Warriors beat Seton Hall, with a projected losing margin of 5.3 points - are the Warriors really that weak this year?!

It was decided to do it that way to take the pressure off the moderators when choosing SOTG by giving you guys regular breaks.
Who cares if your analytics make any sense? Sentences like the following would still make you a must read.
It appears what we have here is your classic case of good Mayo (perhaps something with a little Sriracha or chipotle in it) vs. bad Mayo (the kind that wipes out entire company picnics or gets sprayed with a hose by Louis Gossett, Jr.).
Humm....maybe this is why Buzz has Todd on a short leash:
We can dig in even further and venture into the plus-minus realm, where opponents have outscored Marquette by 53 points with bad Mayo in the game this season.

Todd has gotten plenty of minutes, even during his "bad Todd" games. The only real exception is St. Johns.

Thanks....I think.

It should be 30 minimum every game.

So, if Todd's having an off game, we just concede?
