Former Marquette target Austin Grandstaff decommitted from Oklahoma State today. Doesn't fit our typical mold...seems more like an Iowa State or Creighton type of player to me. Three point specialist...basically a rich man's Jake Thomas. Might be worth a look if we miss on our 5 star prospects that Buzz is hunting....or more scholies magically become available.
Too traditional??
Yeah--I hate guys who are good shooters from 3......they can go to school elsewhere.
Where's keefe?
Good porn name
There is a thread somewhere about him and his name.
The absolute last thing we need around here is a great shooter who also plays a good all-around game!

Whoa cowboy, the ZagsBlog's article contains no Marquette mentions. Reading between the lines, it seems to be that he thinks he can get mentioned with higher profile programs now that he's the top scorer in Texas. He dropped hints that he'd like to hear from Michigan and Florida.
Austin is trading one OSU in for another. Thad Matta just added a Grandstaff to his buckeye nuts.

OkSt. took the starch outta Grandstaff's sail, hey?
Didn't Oden go by "Grandstaff" when he was in Columbus?
You may be thinkin' of 'Nique Wilkins.
Four years of constant double entendres narrowly avoided.
Austin may have the Grandstaff. But UNC-Asheville has the Biggerstaff

Biggerstaff has a tendency to faint when he gets excited

What the heck, it took you over two and half minutes to jump on that.

Only to you, Doc...only to you
Unlike Grandstaff, Biggerstaff intimidates by his appearance and may not properly fit in some places.

Grandstaff is a slippery fellow and is known for his finesse. Biggerstaff, as you point out, brings length and girth that can really fill up the lane.

But I've heard both can be a bit too eager to shoot, and ultimately get rejected often.
Grandstaff is pulling out from OKSt? After all that foreplay and solid stroking? Just proves that Chicks love the long ball.
How long are we going to extend this?
neither one will measure up to expectations at the combine
funny
Maybe Oklahoma State is holding out for a surname of Thunderstaff.
The long and short of this mess is there's something in the exchange that pleases everyone involved.
