Sutton isn't likely to meet the NCAA's academic regulations, even if he does really well in high school this year.  Rumors are all over the place about what he'll do, Prep School, JUCO, re-classify etc.  But there almost no chance that he's playing for MU or any college next year.

Doubtful.  MU is in on centers/power forwards with more skill than Sutton for 2009.

*was* seems closer to accurate. (as in, adios Thomas, Stutz, Ben-Eze, Crittle and others)

MU is down to Otule and who, Dwight Miller?  Not sure if Sutton is more or less skilled than those fellas so much as he's so skinny it'd be tough to contribute early in college.

Incredibly, Crean has a starting center slot available for a Big East contender -- and has yet to fill that role with a priority target.  oy

I said 2009, not 2008, he was asking if MU was going to stay with Sutton if he moved back a class. In 2009 MU is in on(either C or PF) Jamil Wilson, Andrew Fitzgerald, Erik Murphy, Garrick Sherman, and Luke Russell all of whom are higher rated than Sutton.  They're also in on Bobby Capabianco and Kyle Rowley who have better size and will likely be higher ranked after the new rankings come out.
