I mentioned here a few years ago that my wife is quite handy at sewing and such. She's actually got my daughter doing it now as well. She's made a few quilts out of t-shirts in years past and the two of them are now working on a 4th edition.
Some of these shirts will likely bring back some memories for some of you, thought I would share before she has to cut them into squares (destroying the shirt) but making them into a quilt. Some of these I actually created (or commissioned) back when I worked in the department, others were created by more talented people than I.

Great stuff, Jamie.
Awesome. Can you post the completed quilt? I remember you posting one a while back.

Sure, probably will take them a few weeks I would guess since they do it for a few hours, then put if off for a few days, so on and so forth.

Can't you order them to get sheet together?

Two of my most prized possessions. The first is a bootleg that I got outside the Arena before a game in '77, the second is the official Final Four shirt sold at the Omni:
Edit: Not sure why they're appearing upside down. They were certainly right side up when I clicked on them. If a mod can fix I would be most grateful.

Upside down or not those look great. You are a lucky man.
I had a t shirt from a guy who was selling them outside the Jes Res that March. My wife painted a kid's room in it years later then tossed it. I would not believe it. I recall her saying I could get a new one when we won another championship. I am still waiting and while I am optimistic I will have reason to buy one I don't think it will be this year.
The Eagle standing with The Hall on the '98 Madness shirt looks really good. Wouldn't wear it because it's a chicken and not a Warrior, but it looks good.

I'd have those framed up
I had a bunch of old t-shirts sitting around in a bin. My wife and mom had this made for me: https://twitter.com/nathanziarek/status/425096896554610689
I can remember every one of these shirts. Pretty cool memento!

Very cool. That is similar to the ones my wife has made. In fact, some of the shirts you have in that one are in two that my wife made.
The last few she has made have mostly been throw pillows from our "terrible towels" for the Ducks Stanley Cup, Angels playoffs, Kings Stanley Cup (my son is the Kings fan, I'm the Ducks fan). I do like the quilts a ton, though.
The one you have, very nice!!

Those are classics. To be passed down to the next generation.
PTM and myself created the "Da Kidds" t-shirt in room 711 at Mashuda.
Seems like yesterday we mailed it to you Chicos.

Thanks gents. I had totally forgotten about some of them as eventually I have to "retire" the shirts and stash them which happened to all of these. When I pulled them out yesterday for this project, there they were. My son loved the Da Kidds shirt and one other especially. Well done!

Yeah, we made then until the AD was pissed. Then I made them. Jerk.
Sidebar, Wes and his family easily bought two dozen. His mom grabbed me in the Al once after returning the mascot with a list of sizes. Nicest lady. Ran all the way to Mashuda and back for her.

But Badger fans kept saying how wicked Wes's mother was....how can this be. LOL.

I thought Broeker ws pissed but Pintens talked him down? Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

I believe that was correct. AD = athletic department.
Well, in their defense, anything like that with a likeness that is sold is going to be potentially problematic for them. I understand their angst.
Chicos,
Glad to see you got the MU & ND one in there with the finger motions on the back & front.

Yup, that doesn't surprise me. Pictures plus cash for them is not a good situation. This is why in the book store you don't see names on back of jerseys, or calendars sold with the likeness.
You can use likenesses to sell tickets or promote games and such, but not to move other merchandise. Coming from a third party like yourselves, its just a headache for them. Student athletes have had eligibility issues with these types of things for fund raising calendars, etc.

No one can claim damages via statue of limitations for you guys, right?
(I'm not a lawyer so I'm ignorant about what is/isn't covered by SoL.)
Greatest. T-shirt. Ever.
Circa 1988 from my intramural basketball team, sponsored by the Avalanche Bar. Our team sucked, but we got free Red, White & Blues after each game. Thanks Rick!

Unlikely.
PTM pretty much broke even.
The best move we made was when only the Spirit Shop sold the replica Nike Wade jerseys. We would sell them on eBay marked up.
Eventually the guy who ran Wade's website started ordering boxes of them from the Spirit Shop but he sent us a $140 finders fee. He promised us other stuff we never got but we came out ahead on that one.
The Warrior logo can be used freely without Marquette coming after you is that correct? If you make something that looks like an old jersey can they come after you?
Would these get you in trouble if sold?

You only got the free brewskis after the game. A good bar sponsor would have a quarter barrel with tap set up at the bench during the game.
Another bag found today in the attic...Winter cleaning....might be able to get two quilts, or certainly a throw blanket.
Some of these go way back.

Final product. My wife ran into some snags, so I sent this one out to be done rather than tie up her time on this version. Came out pretty good.
