Does buzz solely set the lineup or are the assistants involved in setting the lineup and substitution patterns? Our starting backward is averaging 12 points a game on 35.7% shooting. This is despite the fact that they are number one and number two in total minutes played for the season and it's not even close. Todd mayo played like crap today but he has played 180 minutes less this season than Derek Wilson. Somebody please explain that to me!
Jajuan Johnson and deonte Burton are number eight and number nine in total minutes played for the year. At some point you have to say to yourself this is not working! This is where the assistants should be in buzz's ear telling him to make a change. If all the fans can see it, why can't he figure it out? Jerry Wainwright, Autry, Chew... I'd like to hear if the lineups we are seeing are the ones you want out there
Good question ... my guess would be that while Coach Williams listens to input, at the end, he makes the call.
If so, this raises the question of why has Coach Williams been so (apparently) stubborn in sticking with this two person weak back-court. After all, the whole world knows that modern day basketball is all about guards.

Because they play different positions.
This topic caught my eye and begs the question... what is wrong with our coaching? The team played terrible in the second half. It's as if they come out of the locker room at half time with half the energy. Butler sensed our lack of energy and turned up their energy to dominate us. What is wrong with our coaching that makes this team play so awful?

Easy answer...nothing. A basketball game is way more complex than a things are going bad, I'll just coach my way out of it kind of deal.
