To be fair, they haven't under Crean.
To be fair..Its Indiana...Its Indiana...Its Indiana
It's the first 'program building' win of Crean's new five year plan.
Wisconsin showed me they are probably exactly who I think they are. A very good team that will win a lot of games, and probably win the Big 10, but not likely to go real far in March.
I assume TC has already told his banner supplier to get the press fired up!
This year's UW team is no different than last year's. They can't stop the dribble-drive. If Yogi went to the basket instead of settling for so many stupid jumpers, the game would not have been as close as it was. Stanford Robinson is a nice player...he needs the ball more.
Damn TV feed cut out... I missed the part where the cut down the nets.

No worries. They will be covering the raising of the banner on the Big Ten Network.
How was the postgame handshake? Did I4 give bo the blow by or was bo given a reenactment if William Henry Harrison's inaugural address?

They usually cut down the nets well past midnight on nights they lose
You only storm the court if
A) You beat #1 team in the nation
B) You win a conference championship
College kids don't care what old farts like us think.
Nice piece in the USA Today about this today.

Seriously, it's fun. It adds to the atmosphere.
Take Bo & TC out of it. I grew up in WI. My formative years were during the Yoder Era. Never in my wildest dreams did I think IU would ever, ever, ever storm against UW. I couldn't believe my 38 year old eyes last night.

Did you ever think that a Wisconsin coach would be 18-4 against Indiana? (I think that is what they mentioned as Bo's record v. the Hoosiers.)

Here is my general attitude about court rushing...it's fun.
We stormed the court after a win against a Notre Dame team that had a losing record at the time. It was one of my most memorable and enjoyable moments as a Marquette student/fan. I'm glad we didn't spend too much time worrying about whether the win was "rush-worthy." They're college students. They're having fun.

Yep. The Saturday before finals in 1989-90.

You're an old man now (in their eyes), that's the difference.
Never in my wildest eyes would I think we would rush the court beating Notre Dame, but we did and I was on the court doing it in the late 80's early 90's. Enjoyed it very much. Front page of the Marquette Tribune had us all on the court. Kids will be kids and kids today only need a simple reason to do anything to get on a court. Beat the #3 team in a rebuilding year, they're going to storm the court. Is what it is and people can grumble all they want. Millenials don't give a shat.
Lots of fuddy duddys here ;)

I heard the cell towers almost caught fire during the last 10 seconds of the game because all of the millennials were calling their parents to ask whether or not they should storm the court. Rumor has it the majority of parents said "no."
Given the incompetence of their basketball leadership I submit the IU faithful deserve to let their hair down at least once this season. But the fact is their "Court Storming" was somewhat lame. Here in the PNW we really do know how to express our emotions for the teams we love. It's like sex: If you're in you're in. The IU "Court Storming" lasted what, 6-7 minutes? Again, like sex, a proper show of support for your favorite team should linger on the palate like a fine wine. Frankly, I think the athletes appreciate such unbridled emotion.

I'll be cheering on the Ducks tonight against the Canucks at the Honda Center. Go Ducks!

Nope, but what a blast it was. Tied the NHL record of 18 wins in 19 chances with the '67-'68 Montreal Canadians. Set a Ducks record with 9 goals, set a Ducks record with 6 power play goals (against the #1 penalty killing team in the NHL).
My boy got 2 goals (Teemu Selani who played for the Ducks when I worked for them many years ago). It was an enjoyable night and such a fun team to watch. Tough game tomorrow and Sunday against the Blackhawks and Blues.

Regular season hockey is great, but the Stanley Cup playoffs is where champions shine.

Wow. Almost as high a % as those who want a la carte or "self bundling" television!
I can understand the court rush because Wisconsin has owned Indiana the last couple of years.

No disagreement. In our tiny 19 years of existence we've been to two cup finals, lost one 4 games to 3 and won the other 4 games to 1. Hoping to get back this year, but the west is absolutely loaded.
Going to be fun. Next Saturday Ducks Kings outdoors at Dodger Stadium...it was close to 90 degrees here yesterday so that is going to be interesting.

Until they get educated and learn what the true costs are and that they will lose most of their channels.
A few years ago a bunch of people wanted awesome health care insurance....until those pesky details came out and they got educated and the country has flipped.
Americans are devoid of facts much too often.
I was actually hoping you would say 75% is about the support of Native Americans for the Redskins nickname. ;)

If you're saying that American's are now educated, you're crazy.
If you're saying that American's are fickle, absolutely.
American's are Americans.

The American's fickle nature betrayed his true intentions.
