Title: Questions for Scrambled Eggs Podcast
Post by: mu03eng on January 13, 2014, 03:23:49 PM
In a blatant attempt to get even more ears on the podcast (averaging 4000 an episode) we're asking for your questions.  We'll be posting to twitter and facebook as well.  We will be podding tomorrow night so post questions you want answered here or tweet us with the hashtag #scrambledquestions.

@mooof23
or
@joemccann3
or
Cracked Sidewalks

Best questions we will answer in the pod.

Pretty easy stuff....ask away.  If popular we'll try doing this every couple of weeks.  Any other thoughts, feel free to pass along.

Why can't women put mascara on with their mouth closed?

Two general questions worth discussing:

1. What do you think is a necessary NCAA tourney record?
2. Will Buzz change his approach if the team is no longer in contention for an at-large?

Everyone is salivating over Bane's performances in limited minutes this year. I love watching him, but I get the sense that Buzz "protects" freshmen by putting them in lineups and situations that make their defensive weaknesses less apparent. If Burton starts getting more minutes that's harder to do. Do you buy my assumption? If so do you think it's still worth the payoff of offensive ability for defensive harm? I wonder if there are instances of freshmen playing time increasing dramatically in conference play and how that affected their efficiency.

That's a bit of a ramble, but maybe you'll get something out of it. Thanks for doing the podcast, I love it.

[Edit: I should say the context for this question is the Cracked Sidewalks twitter feed which pointed out that Bane is 4th in "net points" but 9th in minutes.]

John Dawson... great point guard, or greatest point guard?

Depends on if we're talking about in MU history or in all college basketball. Either way, it's yes.

1. Why?
2. How?

...and a distant third:

3. Will we ever see a Todd Mayo mea culpa PR tour where he apologizes to all of us for being either unemotional or too vocal? (sub-question: what are the odds Jay Cutler joins this tour?)
