At this stage it seems to me our best OFFENSIVE roster would have been Duane – if he had not been hurt – with Todd, Deonte, Jamil and Davante. Obviously Chris is awesome defending the rim, Derrick is a stud guarding the ball, and Juan actually rates as our top overall defender on Value Add though I admit it is hard to rate defense. As mentioned, Jake was also awesome on the defensive end.
When we get behind in one of these offensively challenged outings, do we try John to see if he can hit a few jumpers to open it up and put him on the court with Todd-Deonte-Davante-Jamil, or do we try Jamil at the point or do people like Derrick distributing to the other four even without the jumper? He did hit the one mid-range today.
Derrick played well today and I love him, but I wonder if John could hit a few shots to stop the double teams.
There were back to back posessions today where Dawson really impressed me. The first he drove and had a nice feed to someone for an easy layup and the second someone else drew the defense and he got the ball 12 feet out and went up eith so much confidence and nailed the jumper.
I have no idea what you said, I am just happy to see bama post.
Thinking the same thing -Bama, where you been?
Different bama y'all
thanks guys your comments really make my day. I took a paid gig to Run the breitbart sports pages which was great but just absolutely time consuming and it allowed me no time to post here or on cracked sidewalks. Finally decided sports editor duties was just too much time with my other clients so gave up editing breitbart and certainly hope to be a regular again for my true passion, marquette basketball!

Uh, I guess we'll have to classify you as a meat brain, since we know it's not the grains causing your problems.
...welcome back bama, 4ever missed you but can remember since he gave up grains.
Guess its bma725 folks are pinin' for, a'ina?
Rather Tomas over Burton at this point, but agreed in principle. Burton #1 off the bench.
