Clearly Mayo. Well done Todd.
Thanks for coming Todd. YOU are SOTG!
That was too close of a game.
1. Todd

5. Turkey Sanwhich with extra Mayo.
you get the point.
Dont forget the mayo

9-9 FT, 0 TOs, very nice.
Extra Mayo! ;D
Load on the Mayo
TODD
Todd. Other than missing that wide open 3, I can't think of a single mistake or bad decision that he made.
Buzz a close second for trusting him.
OJ's little brother :D
could possibly be the game that launches Todd into being our go to guy
Mayo. The whole game turned while he was no the bench in the second half and the offense stagnated.
Mayo definitely closed the game out for us, couldn't have won it without him.
But I'm giving the nod to Jamil. I was frustrated by him in the second half but his first half was that good. A double double with the monster put back dunk. I think that dunk was only second to Deonte's monster against Sanford
Todd.
TM, Jamil doesn't play like these are the last games of his college career.
Absolutely Todd for SOTG. But Jamil Wilson had 16 & 11, so honorable mention. He also had some TOs down the stretch that sure didn't help.
The guy who everyone here wanted kicked off the team two weeks ago

If by "wanted kicked off" means "said should be starting", sure.
Mayo
Todd
Mayo! Great fast breaks and being unafraid to step while playing within himself.

+1000
No doubt it was Todd. Without him today, there's a good chance we lose his game. Hopefully he starts to find some consistency.
Mayo was the guy. Can't believe JJJ has been rated so high. His shooting is horrendous. Dawson had a good showing.
Todd without a doubt. Best game at MU!

He's shooting 47 percent. Jake Thomas is shooting 36 percent. Also it's probably hard to get in a rhythm when you are playing 2 min at a time
Todd, absolutely.
Jake gets honorable mention for the block.
IMHO Jamil underperformed again today because he was so bad late in the game.
Clearly Todd. He was thoughtful with the ball, solid on the defensive end and a true scoring threat.
Jamil would have won at half but disappeared somewhat in the second half and was too sloppy with the ball. And I'll say this about Jake. Today his shot was off. That said, he maintained his defensive intensity. That block leading to a Mayo layup was a thing of beauty. Earns his minutes every day.

Jamil was 16 pts and 11rebs. Buzz called it the best game "in totality" he played this year.
I agree with Buzz. So if he can get past simply picking the guy who led in scoring, the SOG was Jamil.

3 TO's, second half passivity drop him behind Mayo, IMO.
Mayo. Also, remember Wilson missed front end of one on one with 3 seconds to go.
Mayo

Jake gets honorable mention for his hustle today. Some key rebounds, steals, and that block.

But he buried the important one and one with 42 seconds to go. The one and one with 3 seconds to go was merely cosmetic.

I agree that it might have been Jamil's best game. Todd's was simply a bit better. We'll win a lot of games if those two guys can maintain pace.
I also loved what Todd is quoted as saying post-game including his embarrassment about team toughness following Xavier and also imploring Jamil to continue to focus on his role as player, not player/coach. Good stuff young man.
