I LOVE 21 assists on 29 FGM
I HATE Jim Burr. 28 FTA differential? Are you kidding me?
I LOVE agressive Jake. Was putting up threes with a hand in his face and hitting them with confidence. Also was all over the place on defense and the boards.
I HATE when yet another player has a career night against us (Thames, Dekker, Neal, Manigat, Christon). Can't figure out why this keeps happening
I LOVE Dawson showing some life and hitting threes
I HATE that the offense completely stalled in the first half with him in the game. Went from up by 6 to down by 10
I LOVE that every three point attempt X took (except for one that I can recall) was contested
I HATE when they still go in the hoop...
I LOVE possessions that Burton scores on
I HATE possesions that Burton wildly flails towards the basket
I LOVE shooting 47% from the floor
I HATE getting outrebounded by 19!!!
I LOVE the statlines that Gardner, Jake, Burton, Mayo, and Dawson had
I HATE the statlines that Anderson, Johnson, and most of all J Wilson had
I HATE that we need to win 3 of next 4 (HALL, @BUT, @GTWN, NOVA) to even have a shot at the tourney
But I'm going to LOVE it when we win all 4
RING OUT AHOYA
Pretty much spot on.
Fake scenario: MU finishes Big East 12-6 (20-11). 8-1 at home with the loss to Creighton. Road wins vs. Prov, St Johns, DePaul, Seton hall.... Are we in and if so what seed?
As much as I rip on Jake, he really showed up tonight. Didn't make those tough threes at the end but I like the aggressiveness he showed after he made the shots earlier in the game.

Pretty good shot at going 1 - 3 vs 3 - 1...

Not safe unless they get a win or two at MSG.
We won't have to worry about it though. They're just not good enough.

I just hope we beat Hall. Then we'll go from there.
Most impressed by Jake and Deonte, and LOVE only 6 TOs.
Also LOVE your optimism.

Agree with all of it, except for the offense stalling with Dawson. He came in with the score 14-13, played very well, offense looked quite smooth.
Actually very optimistic after this one. There is a lot of talent on this team, they just need to get it all going together. Ran into Christon playing a great game. Playing on the road we will not get calls to our advantage. Played a good team down to the wire when they shot 28 more FTs than we did.
Future looks bright.
Again - "talented team - need to pull it together". Completely agree, but- Ran into a hot player on the road - wow, coincidence, that seems to keep happening to MU.
MU may pull together, but maybe all for a glorious run in the NIT.

Butler just choked away a home loss to Depaul. I'm not quaking about going to Hinkle. We play like we did tonite and we win by a few possessions.
I loved that for the second straight game, our offense got a lot of one-on-one opportunites for Gardner.

Who cares about the next 15 games. Go 1-17 for all I care. Just win three at the Garden in March.
Team Bubble Watch is going be Team Bubble Buster this year.

Well, I hope you care a little. Finishing 0-15 would be devasting for this program. But that obviously is not going to happen.
Speaking of 1-17, does anyone know the format of the reformed Big East Tournament? Do all 10 teams make it, or do the bottom 2 get eliminated, and then there is just a straight 8 team tournament?
I am guessing they'll do it where 10 seed plays 7 seed, 8 seed plays 9 seed, and the top 6 seeds get a bye, but I have not been able to find a bracket.

Your guess is correct. Top 6 earn byes. Saw the bracket a couple days ago
