Win or lose tonight...
Buzz,
Please. Stop.
Absolutely. Start Deonte at the 3, perhaps, but CO and DG on the court at the same time for extended minutes leads to defensive excretions.
Plus I really think DG is utilized poorly when he's holding the ball in the key. The man is build to be down low, both offensively and defensively.

Maybe, but he drains those shots near the key at a pretty high clip.
Interesting.
Lots of Scoopers were begging Buzz to use them together last season.
It worked well for one half of one game, when Buzz made an in-game adjustment and sprung something on Syarcuse that Boeheim hadn't prepared for. Maybe some people got the idea that it could work on a regular basis but I wasn't one of them. Neither is agile enough to defend on the perimeter, neither one excels in the high post, and when both are in there the ball movement slows.
Offense doesn't bother me too much, as Ox can at least pass, but seeing either try to guard the perimeter is brutal.

This is exactly true.
It is best used as a 2- or 3-minute ploy to try to mess with the opponent or as an option if the opponent goes really big and employs the double-post.
Or not at all.
