I'm watching DePaul/Butler waiting for our game and naturally DePaul is losing.
How much longer will DePaul give Purnell? They do not seem to be making any progress over the wainwright years.
Nobody will make progress there until they get an AD is even marginally competent.
What's the point of considering a change? They should have him as long as he'll stay.

+1
DePaul had it down to 4 with a nice run. Back to 8 lead for Butler

So the donors and Alumni have given up on basketball?
2 pt game with just over 30 seconds.

Sorry ... But win or lose DePaul is no better than the day they fired Wainwright.
DePaul is beating Butler?!?
+1 on the AD.
Purnell's poor coaching cost DePaul the chance to win it in the first OT. DePaul is up by four with 30 seconds left, 26 of which was left on DePaul's possession. Hamilton gets free and blows it by dunking the ball. Result, Butler is done by 6, but the Bulldogs have the time needed to tie it and force the second OT. Al said time and time again in those situations, that the opponent changes from the other team to the clock. If Hamilton had passed on the shot and if DePaul then ran the rest of the time off their possession without even taking a shot, then Butler would have had four seconds to score four points to force the second OT, a very unlikely result.
