Was trying to figure out where he is currently and it seems like he dropped off the basketball map. Any news on him? He was my favorite MUBB player.

This is a great example of why the pictures are awesome
Sat next to him at the Honda Center. He says he was last in New Orleans but has had some medical issues that are now under control. I didn't want to press him on more.
Nicest young man you would ever meet and a favorite of mine as well. Even more now since I had the chance to speak with him.
Hopefully he saved his nickels and dimes and invested properly.

As soon as Lazar realizes he is not going to be an NBA player -- and that might take awhile, given that teams have signed him off and on -- he probably would be a great college assistant coach.
Personable, intelligent, motivated, dependable. I think if he got into a recruit's home, he'd have a chance to sell the recruit on whatever school employs him. Maybe even Marquette a year or three from now!

I agree, but if I was Lazar, I'd play until no one was sniffing around anymore before doing that.

Absolutely! Coaching opportunities will be there but the window to be a player can close quickly.

Certainly. He needs to get playing out of his mind, body and spirit.
I just think he will make a great assistant and, one day, head coach.

Needs to get his degree to be a college coach. Maybe the best thing is to get back in school? Surprised he is not doing a European gig.

I seem to misplace my sense of humor (and my keys, wallet, etc) frequently these days. Part of my initiation into senior citizenship.
