You can't cure stupidity. And I don't even know if I am talking about the parents, coaches, or Esquire network.

I expect this out of abusive parents/coaches - they need something to make them feel like men - but presumably the people running the network are college educated.

And while we are on the subject of stupidity - 16 Hall of fame voters didn't feel that Greg Maddux was worthy of the Hall.

Does this group ever purge itself of brain dead fools?

They'd be good candidates to abuse these kids.

That one coach in the video who tells his player to hit the other kid and he doesn't care if the kid doesn't get up should probably not be allowed around children.  Maybe this league needs to vet its coaches a little more carefully.

PEDs have made a mess of the HOF voting.  There are too many guys who deserve to go in now, and with no consensus on how to deal with the suspected PED guys, there are too many votes cast for guys who can't get in.  With a limit of 10 guys per ballot, I could see the logic of a sportswriter saying, "Maddux is an obvious HOF'er, but he is definitely getting in.  I could better use my vote to help Mussina (or Trammell or whoever) stay on the ballot..."  Not saying I agree with it, but I can understand it.  Normally, guys like Clemens, Bonds, Piazza, Bagwell, McGwire, Sosa and Palmeiro would have already been enshrined and not taking away votes from other deserving guys.

The guy who only voted for Morris because he didn't want to vote for anyone from the steroid era is another reason, but I don't agree with that thinking at all.
