Title: The Silver Lining
Post by: keefe on January 02, 2014, 07:18:46 PM
The good news in this debacle is that any thought of Texas poaching Buzz Williams has been well and truly been put to rest. I think Mr. Patterson in Austin has seen that Buzz was doing nothing more than riding on the long and distinguished coattails of Thomas Crean. Is there anything more despicable than a man who would wrest the laurels that were paid for with the blood of others? The real question is how long Marquette wishes to keep Buzz Williams.

This seems like a post that is made in haste. Although I have been disappointed with many results this year, I think Marquette challenge for the Big East crown as long as Buzz is at the helm.

This spots was made in jest. Scoop rule número uno, Keefe would never defend the bronze beast

Bad News: Texas is playing well and may not be under pressure to fire Barnes this year. Godammit.

The silver lining is that we will now get a high draft pick next year.

Wow!  I'm in the hot zone.  It's 10°F out here in Southern New England.

To bring in another thread, go hang out with the tourists and thugs at MOA; at least you'll be warm.   ;D
