Luke Fischer to Marquette? Not yet, but the Big Ten is outLuke Fischer confirmed today that he will not transfer to a Big Ten school after leaving Indiana. Fischer is from Germantown, WI and it has been widely speculated that one of the reasons he left Indiana was due to a desire to play closer to home.
The following tweets were sent out from Fischer in the last half hour.

I think he's the kind of player we need to push us to the next level. Pierce, Fischer and hopefully Stone would be a great front court.
Does Marquette have a shot at fisher? Honestly? I'm no inside source but do follow recruiting but have no clue if were in the mix or not

Haven't heard or seen anything but we were in his final five + he wants to play close to home. If Buzz & co is still interested, it would make sense. Seems like we have a decent shot if there is still mutual interest.
Playing time will be his to lose at MU. :)
Seems like a good fit. If we have to give up Maleks scholly well its his fault for messing up. We need a smart big man which I think Luke is.
