Limit Dougie, guard the 3 pt line, attack the rim, hope Jamil starts.
Well said.
Score more points.

Get your mitts on what?
I am actually not confident about this game. I really thought we would beat Ohio but my expectations have been lowered.

I also cannot foresee any circumstances which would allow us to beat Ohio this time out.
3-pointers.
The potential is there for it to be a rout in this department, given that Creighton is one of the best 3-point teams in the country and we're one of the worst. Plus, we get precious few easy baskets in transition. That combination will make it quite challenging to beat a quality opponent on the road.
If we lose the 3-point battle by 21 or 30 or 39 points, I can't come up with any way we win the game.
So we need to have our best game shooting the 3, because they will (correctly) clog the lane and give us plenty of open shots. And we need to hope they shoot it like they did against George Washington (7-25, including 0-5 for McDermott).

Yep. We need to make sure that everyone is sticking to their man. None of that "leave the shooter undefended to double the guy in the post" stuff we were pulling against New Mexico. Creighton is not very big or strong in the post, Jamil and Oxtule will need to be able to handle their assignments on their own.
Another key is our defensive rotations. Creighton will roll out a lineup like: Chatman, Manigat, Gibbs, Wragge, and McDermott where they are small, fast, and lights out from three. In that situation, who guards McDermott? He will drift to the perimeter and get Oxtule way out of their comfort zone. I think if we face that lineup, we have to match them and go small: Derrick, Mayo, Thomas/JJJ, Anderson/Burton, and Jamil.
