Engineering grads would know he was an integral part of the Marquette Experience. Not sure of he was a Scooper but he loved Marquette Hoops. God Bless his soul.

For those former students who had Dr. Nigro as a professor for a class, they really were fortunate. Dr. Nigro was my graduate advisor for my MS and PhD. Since my Marquette days I have been able to take graduate classes at UW-Madison, U of Minn, U of Mich, Purdue, Penn State and Georgia Tech. Although it is really hard to rank the brilliance of such outstanding educators and researchers, in my opinion Dr. Nigro was one of the Mensa of Mensa who would give the shirt off his back if you needed it.
I recall having him as a professor for at least two classes. I don't recall which classes though?
