Big East announces @FOXSports1 will air classic games on Christmas Day. Included: Butler's loss to Marquette in last year's NCAA Tourney.
Other games: '84 St. Johns-Georgetown, '85 St. Johns-Georgetown and Villanova's upset of Georgetown in the 85 title game
I'd love to see MU-UConn from our first season...

Oh man was that a game. I remember my buddy and I taking the game one media timeout at a time, wondering when UConn was going to make their run. I also remember Novak pickup a loose ball at what seemed like the half court line with plenty of time on the shot clock and just absolutely launching it for nothing but net. Kind of hoping Creighton's first big east game goes like that.

As I remember, he was pretty much standing on the "AL" logo. That shot was incredible. I was at work that night doing a news broadcast for Channel 18. I was running from the studio to the TV in the breakroom every commercial break. Awesome game to watch. Novak was unconscious that night, second best single-game performance I ever saw by a Marquette player, after Wade's triple-double in Minneapolis.

Agreed. That was before I had figured out how to stream a game on my PC. Not even sure if ESPN 3 existed then.
What a Game. That was the opening game of our first BE season and starting 3 freshman I was sure we'd get killed.
That UConn team had 6 NBA draftees on it.
Calhoun kept subbing people in trying to get something that would work even subbing in 5 guys at once.
Finally at around the the 9 minute he just sat down and quit looking down the bench at which point my buddy said "He's given up".
Total dominance by MU of the #2 team in the country.

Not a (New) Big East game, though.
How about JFB beating the Johnnies in OT?
If UCONN was still in the conference you might see it but unfortunately that is not the case......
