Lets pick up where we left off, and carry the momentum into Vegas this weekend.
We cover, and then some.
Frosh get big minutes tonight.
Jake, by the way, will get 15 tonight.
Go Warriors!
I love the way you think.

Majok Majok for 12 rebounds, but that'll do little to help. MU in a big way. EXTRA MAYO on the menu tonight (nh).

Agreed, they're good but not 4th in the nation good. Or anything higher for that matter
two old BE teams making peoples eyes bleed on ESPN.
Did we recruit Majok? Name seems familiar.

let me rephrase. unless one believes that they are worthy of being ranked 1 - 3, they are either appropriately ranked or overrated. but they are not underrated.
Damn, no KO
Bad Jamil showed up...so far.
burrrrrrr....sighting...crap
pretty slick by chris
lagunitas IPA.
What say the rest of you?
we should feast inside
leaping is not one of juan's strengths-what?
Lob city!!!!..... oh wait.
Pendleton
HAHAHAHHAHA
who the unnatural carnal knowledge is this announcer?
Juan all of a sudden cant jump because jamil threw an awful pass. And then calls Juan a "shooter"
and his specialty is outside shooting? these guys have no clue
MU looks crisp

I would hardly say that.
We are playing another JV team and making many simple mistakes/misses already.

Yup. Went off to JUCO though. Had numerous high majors on him back then.
Excellent rebounder. Second (and final) year at Ball State.

not crisp, but not too many mistakes--but agreed on lots of misses
Well, it appears this stupid channel is going to show the same win/loss discrepancy every game we play a new cupcake.
Todd, Jamil and Davante. Now were talking.
points right away.
juan almost got his third steal in 5 minutes
What kind of Nike kicks is Davante rocking?
sheesh Ox is quick
Jeez we could make this game get ugly at any moment if we decide to just let davante have the ball all game.
Juan and deonte with a couple nice dunks....

Beautiful pass by Ox
Give me Mayo instead of Jake and that would be my favorite lineup.
Jamil
Mayo
Burton
Anderson
Gardner
Hope to see Dawson and DuWilson get a little run today, let them work a bit so hopefully they can contribute during conference play.

That is a really nice one. A little JuJuan as well.
Ox "one of the greatest passing big men in the big east" he has 12 assists for the season. what? maybe the big east just doesn't have many good passing big men and he was damning ox with faint praise

Ox is a great passer though. Maybe doesn't rack up assists but he moves the ball pretty damn well.
Can Ox really win 6th man of the year this year yet make 1st team BE? lol.
Nice bucket Derrick
cmon derrick give it up.
I wana see some highlight reels.
Already 3 steals for Juan?! He is racking them up these last 2 games
Is Burr the old, fat, short guy?
JJJ should take the ball to the rake more often. He has some smooth moves.
Deonte and JJJ are a little quick looking for their shots

wtf does that even mean.
Juan is starting to finally look like the Trent Lockett type player I've been waiting for.
Juan is really showing nicely these last two games - guy is just all over the floor.
I need to take some of whatever Juan is on. Energy like no other tonight.
what a play by juan - he is an energy guy who plays with a purpose-- brings the energy and hops to the D and rebounding rather than just running around for the sake of movement. i think he is the most improved player at this point
Quote from: HaywardsHeroes32 on December 17, 2013, 08:40:52 PM

at the time you posted that. JJJ took an opener jumper. euro stepped for a layup and weave drove for a layup foul.
I think you posted that because the idiot announcer said he shot 3 out of 3 times touching.
wait, were playing a team with a guy who never played basketball?
was he talking about the coach?
freakin" juan

And it appears we are the second game he has appeared in.....
wow
Juan turning into quite the player. Now so much more than rebounds.

listening to homer and mac on tunein radio since hotel doesn't have Fox Sports One and they indicating the the walk-on/manager tried out last 2 years and finally made the team this year. he only played 2 min prior to this game
Sorry - Gotta do it - Dawson with steal, and then one of his great passes to Burton that was gonna be an easy bucket/lay in, where defender had to foul to prevent layup.
It's that kind of pass/court vision that have me excited about his potential - that was a very creative look, and he put it in the perfect place for Burton..

and yeah, burton and jjj always looking for the shot
crap juan - that hurts
Juan just made a layup and rolled his ankle... Not good.
Time for the boot?
hate watching ankle rolls--can feel it in my ankles
It is about time that we find a player at Jimmy Johns walking with THE BOOT on
Halftime.
What's everyone drinking tonight?
The commentary is that they are not icing Juan's ankle. If accurate, I don't get it. That was a painful ankle roll they should ice it immediately. ?-(
True about Juan. No medical attn on the bench before half. He was laughing about something. Seemed okay.
8-5 New Mexico St with a 13 point lead at the half...AT 7-2 New Mexico.
How you you gauge anything from playing this team. Have a 5 ft 5 PG and a guy who never played basketball. They are worse than IUPUI, wow....
Up big and J. Wilson played limited minutes due to two fouls.
With big lead, and Juan tweeking his ankle, look for big minutes from frosh in second half. Hoping to see if Duane Wilson gets some pt.
More JJJ, less Mayo.
The lineup of the following played really well this game, as well as IUPUI:
Jamil
Thomas
Burton
Anderson
Gardner
FGCU loses in 2 OTs @ USF.
Jamail's line: 4 points, 2-6 FG, 0-2 3PT, 8 REB, 1 STL, 6 TO, 3 PF

The freshman keep improving with every game....that is a great thing to watch...can't wait to see JJJ and Deonte in full form next year (I can't wait to see their continual improvement this year...but another year under their belts and they are going to be special next).
Juan's energy and impact on the games has been underrated...it is starting to become very evident which is also great to see.
I know the last two games have been cupcake city, but, it does look like this team is improving in every aspect of the game, including Buzz' rotations.

So why do they run so many commercials for American Indian College Fund during a Marquette.....Warrior.....basketball game?
good to see juan out there

Like the aggressiveness, but will have to learn to find his spots a little against good teams when letting him go 2-6 with 3 TO could be a killer.

Did I really just hear someone say "Ask Burr, ask Burr, he saw it" on that call reversal? Those words will never be uttered again.
Dirty.
I could be wrong, but is this the first game that OJ Mayo's name has not been mentioned?
New Mexico State wins at New Mexico, avenging their home loss 13 days ago. Do any other non-conference rivals schedule a home-and-home every year in this day? Very weird. Last year they played both games four days apart.
