Don't know if this is Superbar material, but Buzz and his wife, and Brad Autry (and I'm assuming his wife), were at center court on the floor watching Diamond Stone and Dominican last night in the showcase game for NY2LA. Dominican got waxed, 75-29 (not a typo) by Germantown. Diamond looked pissed the whole game as his team of D4 buddies were humiliated in front of a crowd of 2,500+ (I'm guessing). When I got in the gym late-first quarter it was already 24-4. It was brutal to watch.
Germantown, which is right next to Mequon (where the event was held) had a huge contingent of students at the baseline and they were taunting Diamond the whole game. Funniest moment was when they cheered, "Hey, Bo Ryan" a few times and he acknowledged the students with a wave from his baseline seat. They then cheered at the wave, and gave him another cheer, "Don't sign Diamond, He's not worth it."
Both Bo and Buzz left right after the game and the crowd thinned a bit for the last game; Brookfield Central took on Kevon Looney and Milw Hamilton. Brookfield Central won in OT. Like the night before when BC played Sussex Hamilton and Brady Ellingsen (Iowa recruit), they just draped people all over the team's one main star. Looney drained three long threes in the first quarter, but other than that, he had to work extremely hard for everything. Hamilton has a sophomore who started and looked real good, Danya Kingsby, keep an eye out for him. He gave Lachance quite a battle all night on both sides of the court.
My one observation from seeing all of these guys again is that Kevon Looney will be playing in NBA, no doubt about it. I've seen Stone play a lot over the years and he has all of the physical tools, but Looney is just so much more mature and developed. When you look at him, you know he cares. He looks like a bigger, better Jamil right now.
Looney is ready to play high D1 ball today. He is most gifted basketball player in the area in quite some time, if not ever. Would be very surprised if he was not a lottery pick down the road.

Agree. He looks every bit as ready as Jabari Parker to me. Once he is surrounded by similar high-level athletes who can space the floor, the sky's the limit. I'm a BC homer, but I actually felt bad for him -- he always had two guys surrounding him and a little traditional a step back waiting to take a charge if he drove and went in the air. That Kingsby kid is going to be nice D1 guard as well, only a sophomore .

Since 1999-Larry House
Stone lacks the refined game of Looney but he has that body and build that "no one can teach".
Funny cheers...hopefully they help us.
What's the update on his recruitment status? Is there a favorite?
I know we have agents out there somewhere!
Stone will be a Warrior!!!

I'm liking your very specific prediction...
"With the 12th pick of the 2016 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors select Diamond Stone of Marquette University."

I watched the game last year when Hamilton played Vincent (with Burton) and Looney just dominated in every facet. He looked ready then too.
Thought we were talking about Stone.

Don't know if this is Superbar material,
Absolutely not. Marquette recruiting info and observations are always welcome.
